Frequently asked questions
Is the generated information real?
No. Every field is synthesised by an algorithm and does not correspond to any real person, address or account. It is intended for software testing, form demos and data seeding.
Why do the city, division and postal code always agree?
Because all three derive from the same real data record: a division is chosen first, then a city within it, then a postal code built from that division's genuine prefix rules.
Does the same seed produce the same result?
Yes. The seed determines every random draw, so the same seed, country and gender always reproduce an identical identity — which is what makes it useful in tests.
Do the national ID numbers pass validation?
Most countries implement the official check-digit algorithm, including Brazilian CPF, Turkish T.C. Kimlik and Spanish DNI. A few guarantee format only, and the interface marks those as format-only.
